Resurrection Week

John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another." There is no greater expression of love in human history than the cross of Jesus Christ. Christ's life, death, and resurrection is what defines true love. John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."

The week of our Lord's "Passion" is a special time when God's people gather together to be washed by the truth of the gospel and to be reminded that "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Gal 2:20)"

Hebrews 13:20-21 "Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen."
